The Opportunity

You will join a highly regarded national paraplanning team, playing a key role in supporting Financial Advisers through the delivery of high-quality, compliant financial advice.

Working closely with the Paraplanning Team Leaders, Adviser Support Managers and an already established team, you will be instrumental in producing suitability reports and providing technical guidance across a broad range of cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare pre-approval documentation prior to report writing
  • Ensure recommendations are fully researched and signed off by Compliance, Technical and Investment teams
  • Produce accurate, compliant and timely suitability reports
  • Carry out financial calculations (e.g. CGT, IHT, chargeable events)
  • Support advisers in gathering and analysing client information
  • Provide clear instructions to Client Administration teams
  • Ensure all advice aligns with FCA and internal compliance standards
  • Maintain strong internal and external communication
  • Stay up to date with industry and regulatory developments

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Paraplanner within Financial Planning
  • Strong working knowledge of suitability reports and FCA requirements
  • Broad, technical understanding of financial products and advice areas
  • Ability to write bespoke advice for complex cases
  • Strong technical skills, including tax calculations
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and back-office systems
  • Level 4 Diploma qualified as minimum, advanced Diploma or Chartered highly desirable
